We hold volunteer workdays where generous people volunteer their time and talent to build the beds. Children paint Bible verses on the slats in bright colors to inspire the families and remind them that Jesus loves them. The bed is then delivered to the child’s home, and with their help, it is assembled. New linens, pillows, teddy bears and a rug for prayer are added along with a children’s Bible and storybook.
